ESPN/Disney Jumped The Shark

What is ESPN doing? I got up this morning at 6am like I always do when I have to work. Didn't have to be in until 8am to meet my crews. I hit Dunkin Donuts for a cup of coffee and got the newspapers. Was going to read the paper and watch SportCenter before I had to go in. I haven't read the newspaper in awhile and was looking forward to it. Turned on the TV, and was confronted with The Jonas Brothers doing the Top Plays on SportCenter. Why they are on a male dominated sports programming network I have no idea? Does ESPN think that would satisfy its core audience? Did they think all those guys that sit in the freezing cold every Sunday to watch football would be talking about this on Monday morning? Is this supposed to ingratiate these tweenie boppers to its audience's children?

The Brothers couldn't even read the cue cards. The ESPN anchors had to step in at the end and help. And the abbreviation "vs." is pronounced versus not verse. Maybe they should be in school instead of touring, and promoting, and being on SportCenter where they have absolutely no business. ESPN/Disney have really "Jumped The Shark" promoting their new SportCenter LA. Who cares that they are in LA. It really only matters to the people that are working at ESPN. They donit have to stay up to do a live show at 2am from Bristol for their West Coast audience. The average viewer does not give a s***!!!!! Made me very angry for some reason. I consider MTV the downfall of our society and the music industry. Its all for show with no substance. Now that same attitude is permeating The World Wide Leader In Sports. Its very sad.

Keep the Jonas Brothers where they belong......on the Disney Channel.

Sorry had to vent.
